Book Adaptive Mountain Bike Lessons

Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks is excited to announce the launch of its Summer Mountain Bike Program!

Program Details:

Dates: Lessons available August 1st-31st .

Registration: Opens July 2nd , via Snowline. Select up to 5 lesson dates per student.

Age: All ages over 6 years. In the case of small groups or pairings, students will be placed in an age appropriate way.

Duration: 2 Hour Lessons (10am or 1pm start).

Cost: $55 per lesson (Introductory cost for 2026).

Coaches: 2-1 Coach to Student ratio.

Equipment: Adaptive Mountain Bike riders can make use of our ASSP owned Bowhead
Rogue or Sport-on XCR bikes or bring their own. 2-wheel mountain bike riders can bring their
own or rent from Sun Peaks Resort.

CADS Membership Required: CADS/BCAS/ASSP Membership is required to participate in our
adaptive Mountain Bike Programs. These can be purchased during lesson booking on snowline.

Trails: Lessons may take place on a range of trails to suit student needs (Sun Peaks Valley
Trail, SPRTA maintained trails, Sun Peaks Progression Park, Sun Peaks Bike Park). Coaches
will make contact with students ahead of each lesson to discuss student needs and trail
preferences and to advise on Lift Pass needs.

Volunteers: As all coaches are volunteers we cannot always guarantee lessons on specific
dates but we will always look to work with your availability to get you out on the mountain.

Certification: All lead coaches have a minimum of GSMBC Adaptive Intermediate Coach
Certification. All assistant coaches have a minimum of GSMBC Adaptive Apprentice Coach
Qualification.
