KIDSPORT (For BC Residents)
Established by Sport BC in 1993, KidSport™ is a community-based sport funding program that provides grants for children aged 6 – 18 to participate in a sport season of their choice. Grants of up to $200 (depending on the community) are to be used for the payment of sport participation / registration fees.

CANADIAN TIRE JUMP START
The Canadian Tire Jumpstart program focuses on helping individual children become involved in organized sports and recreational activities to help them develop a healthier lifestyle in their younger years. Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a charitable program that helps kids in financial need aged 4 to 18 participate in organized sport and recreation activities. Canadian Tire Jumpstart accepts applications from eligible families in January each year until the funding runs out. Proof of financial assistance will be required.

AUTISM FUNDING ELIGIBILITY (For BC Residents)
If your child (6-18 years old and resides in BC) has been diagnosed with ASD and you have an Autism Funding Agreement, funding may be available through the BC Ministry of Children and Family Development’s Autism Funding: Ages 6-18 Program. Please contact the Autism Funding Unit for pre-approval. Approval is granted on an individual basis.
Our staff is happy to help with filling out Request to Pay Forms to receive the most efficient payment processing. We invoice the Autism Funding Unit direct so you don’t pay upfront.

WULF TROTTER MEMORIAL FUND FOR ASSP STUDENTS
Funding is available to ASSP students to access lessons, lift passes to attend lessons and soft or hard equipment. Funding can be used toward one or more parts of your ASSP experience, depending on your needs and available funding.
The goal of the Wulf Trotter Memorial Fund is to help make adaptive snowsports more accessible to students and families throughout British Columbia.
If financial circumstances are making it difficult to participate, please reach out and apply.
Applicants for the Wulf Trotter Bursary must meet the following criteria to be considered for funding:
Eligibility
To be considered for funding, applicants must:
1. Be an ASSP Member
Be a member of Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks (ASSP) in good standing.
New or potential ASSP members may also apply.
2. Demonstrate Financial Need
Applicants will be asked to provide some information demonstrating financial need.
This may be provided through:

- A letter
- A phone conversation
- A virtual meeting
- Another method arranged with ASSP
We understand that every family’s circumstances are different.
3. Live in British Columbia
Applicants from anywhere in BC may apply.
4. Meet the Application Deadline
Applications should be received by:
October 31
If you would like to apply after the October 31 deadline, please email us to inquire. Late applications may be considered depending on available funding.
New to ASSP?
You don’t have to be an existing ASSP student to ask about funding.
New or potential ASSP members are given high priority by the Wulf Trotter Committee when funding would help a student or family access ASSP services.
If financial circumstances have prevented you from participating in adaptive snowsports, we encourage you to apply.

No explanation needed, no questions asked. Be Sure to include the students name and lesson type.
